'He's scoring'; 19-year-old Ellis Simms hailed as natural goalscorer
Everton U23s Assistant John Ebbrell is full of praise for Ellis Simms. The 19-year-old is scoring goals effortlessly these days.
John Ebbrell certainly likes what he sees from Ellis Simms. The teenager started the U23 season with three goals in three games, carrying over decent form from last year.

And Ebbrel, the assistant manager for the side, sees a natural goalscorer in Simms.
“What I do know with Ellis, if he ends up one-vs-one with the goalkeeper, he’s scoring,” Ebbrell told the Liverpool Echo. “From experience, I know if you have time to think for that finish it can be difficult but Ellis is really calm and composed in those situations. He very rarely misses.”
