Sky Sports pundit Jermaine Beckford thinks Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez is looking nervous playing at Anfield right now.
Nunez made the big-money switch from Benfica this summer after a standout season in Portugal. The 23-year-old has got off to a mixed start to his career at Anfield, showing his qualities as well as his weaknesses.
The Uruguayan is clearly a handful for opposition defenders but is struggling with his decision making at the moment.
Beckford was full of praise for Nunez on Sky Sports News today but thinks the player could be getting slightly nervous while playing in front of the Anfield faithful.

Nunez looking nervous playing at Anfield
The former Leeds United striker feels Nunez will come good for Liverpool and that he offers something completely different from Klopp’s other attacking options.
“He’s explosive. I think he’s been really unlucky with a bit of immaturity when he got sent-off [against Crystal Palace],” Beckford said.
“There’s a reason why Liverpool paid as much money as they did for him and there’s a reason they went for him. They don’t just go for anyone and anybody.
“They pick players that are going to suit their style of play, suit their philosophy of Jurgen Klopp and his backroom staff.
“He offers something completely different to some of the other guys. He’s really quick and he’s usually really good in front of goal as well.
“He’s just a little bit nervy at the moment. Maybe it’s playing in front of the Anfield faithful, it’s an extremely passionate fan base.
“But there’s elements of his game that are perfectly suited for Liverpool. It will be interesting to see how well Jurgen Klopp brings him into the team and how quickly he adapts to the Liverpool style of play.”

Nunez has bagged four goals in 11 games for Klopp’s men but is yet to get on the scoresheet at Anfield.
The former Benfica man showed a weakness to his game after he was dismissed for lashing out on Joachim Andersen on his home debut at the beginning of the season.
There have been some positives for the Uruguayan though as he’s clearly shown he can be a real threat for the Reds.
At just 23, Nunez has plenty of time to adapt and improve his game. It will take time for the striker to adjust to Klopp’s system but he could become a top striker for the Reds, if given time.
