'He's only going to get better': Some Sunderland fans hail 20-year-old

A number of Sunderland fans have praised Leon Dajaku following his display for the Black Cats on Tuesday night.

The 20-year-old arrived at the Stadium of Light on loan in August.

He has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Lee Johnson’s side.

Dajaku has been finding his feet at Sunderland and there have been occasions where he has come under criticism.

However, he was impressive for the Black Cats as they ran out 5-0 winners over Morecambe at the Stadium of Light.

Dajaku was a constant threat down the right and gave the opposition right-back problems throughout the game.

He delivered promising crosses and would’ve had an assist had Ross Stewart not fired wide.

And Dajaku capped off arguably his best Sunderland display so far with the game’s fifth goal, via a deflection.

Alongside Dajaku’s goal, Nathan Broadhead scored twice, with Ross Stewart and Alex Pritchard getting Sunderland’s other goals.

Sunderland are currently third in League One and unbeaten in five league games.
