Son Heung-min sat down for a quick game with Hollywood star Tom Holland, who is a massive Tottenham Hotspur fan.
Holland, who plays the role of Spider-Man in the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home, has been busy promoting his movie. From asking Kylian Mbappe to join Tottenham to walking the red carpet at this year’s Ballon d’Or, he’s enjoying life at the moment, but what he did with Spurs yesterday was probably his most favourite moment in recent weeks.
Son and Holland played a little game where the latter described a Marvel superhero and the South Korean had to name a Spurs player who is similar to the said character.
Hugo Lloris became Captain America while Harry Kane was compared to Hawkeye, but Son’s pick for Thor will surprise a few people.
Son Heung-min and Tom Holland compare Mousa Dembele to Thor
Speaking on Tottenham’s official YouTube channel, Holland quizzed Son: “Thor: God of Thunder and Son of Odin. Thor will never hesitate to take on any foe of any size. He’s very impulsive in his approach to most things. Despite his strength and size, Thor is very nimble and agile in battle.”
While Son was thinking about his answer, Holland suggested: “It’s got to be Mousa (Dembele).”
The South Korean replied: “Mousa, I think, is incredible. He’s incredible, I mean, woah! I have never seen a player like this and I will never see one.
“Yea, I’ll say Mousa (compares to Marvel superhero Thor).”

TBR View:
In terms of just talent, technique and quality on the pitch, Dembele is one of the best players to play for Spurs over the last decade. His skill on the ball, close control and the way he would just glide past people was a joy to watch.
After playing 249 times for Tottenham in all competitions, Mauricio Pochettino let the Belgian leave for Chinese side Guangzhou City in January 2019.
Most Spurs fans would argue that Daniel Levy is still yet to replace Dembele. The Belgian, when he was fit, was Tottenham’s driving force, and Antonio Conte could really do with a player like him. Sadly, there aren’t many out there who can do what he used to do during his prime.
