Liverpool got a first Premier League win of the season thanks to goals from Luis Diaz and Mo Salah at Anfield this evening.
The Reds looked a strong outfit and they once again produced a good second 45 minutes to ensure Brentford left with nothing.
So far, Arne Slot has gone with the front three of Diaz, Jota and Salah and at the moment, it’s very much working for them.
Of course, that means the likes of Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez are being left out and brought on from the bench.
As we know, Nunez has not produced his best for Liverpool and Steve Nicol has already said Nunez will not be happy this season already.
And watching Nunez drift offside almost immediately after coming on, Jamie Carragher commented on the issue.

Jamie Carragher says Darwin Nunez has got to work on being onside
Speaking on Sky Sports about Nunez and his inability to keep onside, Carragher suggested it’s something that Arne Slot and his coaches need to get to work on quickly.
“He’s a long way offside, Nunez. It’s a big problem he’s got to fix. Hopefully Slot and his coaching staff can do it,” Carragher said.
Nunez has been linked with a move to Turkey this summer but for now, looks set to stay put and work under Slot at Anfield.
Nunez will need to stay patient
And that goes for both him getting in the team and also when it comes to chances in front of goal.
One of the big issues with him being offside all the time – or more than others – is that he seems to have a desperation about him to get into goalscoring positions.
Nunez has showed in the past he can finish and he just needs to find that again and then work with Slot to hone his craft.
The Uruguayan has all the tools to be a top striker. Now, it’s just about putting it all together.
