‘He’s good’, ‘very’: Some Arsenal fans react to reportedly imminent arrival of ‘top coach’

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to welcome the reports claiming Terry Mason is to join the Gunners.

According to the Evening Standard, Mason is set to become Arsenal’s new head of academy goalkeeping.

Mason has been involved with Southend United for the past 15 years.

He has been instrumental in a number of top young goalkeepers progressing through the ranks at Roots Hall.

Mason has also previously worked at Arsenal and has also spent time with the England Under-18 setup.

The former Hale End goalkeeping talent ID is reportedly set to return to north London next month.

Tony Strudwick is also reportedly joining Arsenal from Sheffield Wednesday as the academy’s head of sports science and medicine.

Strudwick comes with huge experience and also works as the Wales national team’s head of performance.
