It’s safe to say Ian Wright is a big fan of Liverpool target Jude Bellingham.

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House podcast, Wright was waxing lyrical about the 19-year-old midfielder.

The Arsenal legend believes the 19-year-old is going to be a ‘major star’ one day.

Wright also thinks Bellingham is going to leave Borussia Dortmund soon.

The Telegraph have previously reported that Liverpool are leading the race to sign Bellingham.

Any bid to sign Bellingham is going to have to be massive, with SportBild suggesting £105m (€120m) would be enough to sign him.

Wright thinks that if Bellingham is going to leave, it could take ‘£150m straight off the bat’ to sign him.

The midfielder is one of the most exciting young players in the world right now.

Bellingham is a key player for Dortmund, and has already been handed the captain’s armband this season.

The 19-year-old started both of England’s final fixtures before the World Cup, and will be on his way to Qatar next month.

It’s going to give Bellingham an even bigger platform to showcase his talents, and his future in Germany could be in serious doubt.

The 17-capped Englishman would fit perfectly into Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.

Klopp has had to deal with plenty of injury issues in the middle of the park, and the balance of his side hasn’t looked right at times this season.

In fact, Klopp finally deviated from his trusted three in midfield against Rangers yesterday.

Bellingham would slot straight into Liverpool’s side, and could form a brilliant partnership with Thiago and Fabinho.

“When you look at the future, Jude Bellingham is captain of Dortmund now, which is unbelievable message they’re sending out.” Wright said.

“I don’t look at it like a ‘hands off’ because it’s almost like, ‘wow, this guy’s 19 and he’s our captain’.

“This is what he’s capable of, this isn’t a ‘hands off our man’, this is a, ‘look at our man’.

“Jude Bellingham, for England, has to start at the World Cup.

“So, if he has a good World Cup, we’re talking about £150m straight off the bat, and he’s got no buyout clause.

“What we’ve seen, he’s got into the England squad at 17, he’s captain of Dortmund at 19.

“He’s going to go to one of the big clubs.

“He will be a major star playing for one of the big teams barring an injury.”
