‘He’s electric’… Pundit says he’d love to see £60m Premier League winger at Arsenal

Arsenal could do with signing a new winger.

The Gunners are really lacking depth down the right side at the moment with only Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson able to play in that role naturally.

With all due respect, Reiss Nelson hasn’t really shown that he’s of the standard required to play for a potential Premier League champion, and Arsenal could do with some reinforcement.

One player who has been linked as of late is Pedro Neto, and speaking on the Handbrake Off Podcast, Adrian Clarke has made it clear that the winger is someone he’d really like to see at Arsenal.

Clarke would like Neto at Arsenal

The pundit shared his verdict on the £60m winger.

“Pedro Neto is someone I really like, I think he’s a terrific player at Wolves, injury prone, but when he’s fit and firing, he’s electric either down the middle or out wide, so maybe that’s one to keep an eye on,” Clarke said.

Would be brilliant

We have to agree with Clarke here, Neto would be a fantastic signing for Arsenal.

As Clarke says, the winger is absolutely electric. He’s brilliant at creating chances for his teammates, and his pace and dribbling ability can utterly terrify defences.

With Arsenal having such little backup for Saka, Neto could be the ideal signing.

Of course, getting Neto out of Wolves won’t be easy, Gary O’Neil’s side are flying high at the moment, and he is one of their most important players.

Neto probably won’t be on the move this month, but with Arsenal said to be genuinely interested in the player, don’t be shocked if they do come in for him at the end of the season.

Neto is a fantastic talent who would certainly improve this Arsenal side in terms of depth, so watch this space over the next few months.
