Liverpool forward Mo Salah has quite the record when it comes to scoring goals against Manchester United.
The Egyptian forward has been a constant nuisance for the Red Devils over the years, scoring a number of big goals in big moments.
Salah has recently hit the 200 goal mark for Liverpool and some of those goals have come in the biggest games, in all different fashions.
Of course, if you’re a Manchester United fan, the idea of seeing Salah in the Liverpool XI is a frightening prospect.
Paul Scholes says Mo Salah is really annoying for Manchester United
Speaking to Premier League Productions, former United midfielder Paul Scholes conceded that Salah’s brilliance has been annoying for the Red Devils over the years.
“Yeah, he’s annoying for us (Manchester United) but he’s brilliant, as you saw with the finishes there. But yeah, as you say, it’s the big games. When it matters. He’s always there with goals against Manchester City, Manchester United. You always think how can we stop him, we should be able to because a lot his goals are similar when he cuts in from that right side. You know what’s coming but he’s got that much quality you just can’t stop it,” Scholes said.

Just a brilliant player
Salah’s brilliance in a Liverpool is well-documented and it’s little wonder he has become so important to them over the years.
When you look at the foreign players to come into the English game over the years, Salah is right up there as being one of the very best to ever do it.
As we all know, Paul Scholes knows a player when he sees one and his assessment of Salah here is bang on the money. Crucially, there is an obvious respect from Scholes in this clip as well and that shows the stature of the Liverpool forward.
Salah has been an exceptional signing for the Reds and when he’s gone, he’ll no doubt be appreciated even more as a club legend.
