Eddie Nketiah has been speaking about his Arsenal teammates to Amazon Prime Video Sport.

One of the players Nketiah was asked about was fellow striker Gabriel Jesus.

The 23-year-old was asked what it was like to play with the Brazilian international.

Nketiah admitted he’s been blown away by how good Jesus has been since arriving at The Emirates.

“He’s been great. Gabriel’s an amazing player and a really good guy off the pitch.” Nketiah said.

“He’s gelled into the team really well. For myself as a striker it’s good to have a good player to compete against and also to play with.”

Gabriel Jesus has been a revelation at Arsenal this season.

Jamie Carragher has already said he’s been the best player in the Premier League over the opening few weeks.

Jesus has already contributed three goals and three assists in his first six games for the Gunners.

His impact at The Emirates goes beyond just goal contributions, as his energy and link-up play has been sensational.

Jesus has already former a brilliant partnership with Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and new captain Martin Odegaard.

The quartet have started every Premier League game this season, and look like they’ve played together for years.

Nketiah blown away by Jesus

There aren’t many better role models for Nketiah to learn from than Jesus right now.

Jesus is already part of the leadership group at Arsenal despite his short tenure at the club.

The Brazilian alongside Oleksandr Zinchenko have brought a winning mentality with them from Manchester City.

Nketiah’s a fantastic finisher, but Jesus’ contribution to the side outside of the penalty area is an area he can improve on.

Arteta has already showered the Englishman with praise this season for his cameo appearances.

It’s no surprise Nketiah has been blown away by Jesus, but he’ll be hoping he gets a chance ahead of the Brazilian in the first team soon.
