Arsenal got back to winning ways tonight at Wolves as goals from Leo Trossard and Martin Odegaard sealed the deal.
After a frustrating few weeks, Arsenal were back towards their best as they battled hard at Wolves and got over the line with a good win.
For Mikel Arteta, it was essential his team got back to winning to put some pressure on Manchester City.
For now, Arsenal are top of the Premier League table and mentally, that will feel good for the Gunners ahead of a big week this week.
The Gunners face Chelsea and then Tottenham in two London derbies that could define their season.
Of course, key to getting over the line in those games will be key players turning up and producing.
And after doing just that tonight, Martin Odegaard won himself some praise from former Arsenal forward, Theo Walcott.

Theo Walcott impressed by Martin Odegaard v Wolves
Speaking on Sky Sports about the £30m midfielder, Walcott lauded Odegaard’s impact.
Indeed, the former England man pointed out how Arsenal have built their team around Odegaard and on this form, you can see why.
“Odegaard gets a bit of luck with the ball coming back to him but puts himself in that position he deserves it. He’s always involved in the big moments. Arsenal built their team around him and you can see why they did,” Walcott said.
A top midfielder
Some midfield players have just go the X factor and Martin Odegaard is one of those.
He is everything Arsenal need and rely on in the final third and again tonight, he came up trumps when it mattered.
Sure, it was a quiet game from him in terms of having huge impact and moments in the attacking third.
But as Walcott says here, he is always involved in the good play Arsenal have and that is what makes him such a good player.
For £30m, Arsenal have got one of the biggest bargains in the last few windows.
