‘He’s a great player’… Mohamed Salah says he’d absolutely love to play with £54m PL  player

Mohamed Salah has played with some incredible players over the years.

The likes of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Thiago Alcantara are among the best players we’ve ever seen in the Premier League, but there are some mouth-watering hypothetical combinations that we can’t help but dream about involving Salah.

Speaking on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, the Egyptian was asked which one player he’d never played with he’d most like to work alongside, and he named Kevin De Bruyne as the one player in the Premier League he’d most like to share a pitch with.

Salah wants to play with De Bruyne

The winger spoke about the £54m man.

“Who would be your dream teammate you never played with?” Salah was asked.

“I would say Messi or Ronaldo, but in the Premier League I would say Kevin. His vision and I’m sure he would find me anywhere with the ball. He’s a great player, the whole team is great,” Salah said.

Could’ve happened at Chelsea

The idea of Salah and De Bruyne playing together in the same team is enough to make any football fan excited, but the scary thing is that this could, and probably should, have happened.

Indeed, Salah and De Bruyne were both on the books at Chelsea at the same time, but, for some reason, Jose Mourinho couldn’t find any use for either of these players.

To be fair, John Terry has also said he didn’t think much of either Salah or De Bruyne at Chelsea.

With a bit more patience, Chelsea could’ve had one of the very best duos in Premier League history on their hands, but, sadly, the Blues let these two incredible talents slip through their fingers.

Salah and De Bruyne will probably never get to share the pitch together, but it goes without saying that they would be a truly incredible pairing.
