Arsenal fans have been responding in kind after defender, Gabriel Magalhaes, took to Twitter to post a teasing update.

The Brazilian has been missing from recent weeks after testing positive for Covid-19, a missing period that has coincided with the Gunners going on a fine run of form.

Pablo Mari has come in and done well, while Rob Holding continues to impress at the back as well. However, there is no doubting that having Gabriel back is a boost to Mikel Arteta’s squad.

And the defender, who reportedly earns around £50k-a-week at The Emirates after signing in the summer, took to Twitter to tell fans that he’s firmly back in the mix.

Naturally, the post from Gabriel garnered plenty of reaction, with a number of Arsenal fans responding to the defender.

And while the Gunners might have prospered while he’s been out, it seems most Gunners supporters are more than happy to see their man back in and amongst the action ahead of the clash with Newcastle this weekend.
