West Ham United winger Said Benrahma will be leaving before the deadline to join Lyon, finally getting his move to the French side.
Benrahma’s future has been in a bit of limbo all day but it seems like Lyon have finally got a deal over the line for the former Brentford man.

Taking to X to confirm the deal just now, Fabrizio Romano has given the deal the now famous ‘here we go’.
Lyon will pay around £3m to make the loan deal and then have option of around £11m to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Benrahma has been waiting all day for the confirmation, with Fulham and Turkish sides apparently keen as well. However, it is Lyon who have got it over the line it seems.
West Ham could make late late move
While Benrahma was always likely to go at some point this does leave West Ham a touch short and they might well look to make a move in the final few hours of the window.
Yes, it is late in the day but with Pablo Fornals also on his way out, the Hammers might fancy bringing someone in to fill the void a bit.
Benrahma will do well in Lyon. He suits the French league well and his pace and trickery will see him be successful.
West Ham fans, then, face an anxious wait in the final hours to see if any incomings are in the offing.
