‘Hell yes’, ‘would be perfect’: Some Arsenal fans react after hearing who’s open to Emirates return
A number of Arsenal fans have urged the club to do all they can to bring Santi Cazorla back to the Emirates Stadium as a coach after keeping the door open on a potential return.
The Spanish midfielder joined Arsenal in 2012 and became a fan favourite for his hard-working, dazzling displays for Arsene Wenger’s side.
Unfortunately, a serious Achilles injury saw Cazorla lose out on close to 700 days of his career, and there were even fears he’d lose the ability to walk.

His time at Arsenal came to an end in the summer of 2018, when he left for Villarreal on a free transfer after 180 appearances, 29 goals and 45 assists for the Gunners.
Cazorla spent two years with the Yellow Submarines before leaving last summer, and is now playing for Qatari club Al-Sadd under Barcelona legend and former Spain teammate Xavi.
The 36-year-old, who won two FA Cup trophies alongside Mikel Arteta, he says he would be keen to be reunited with his former teammate at the Emirates once again.
“Mikel was very important when I came to Arsenal,” Cazorla said in an interview with AS.
“I did not speak the language and he was the only Spaniard. He helped me a lot, both him and his family.
“We were two students of football, we watched games and he already had that coaching gene.
“It is something that I would value tomorrow, now I am not considering it.
“If I am given the opportunity and he believes that I can help him, it is something that I would not mind and would leave the door open to enjoy that experience with him.

“But there is nothing for today, it will be seen.”
Last year, Arteta said he would be open to bringing Cazorla back to Arsenal for a backroom role.
And in wake of the Al-Sadd ace’s comments many Arsenal fans on social media say they want to see the two link up and work again:

Technically one of the very best to grace our football club. These kids would learn so much from him.

If he were to cone in as a coach, he’d genuinely still be superior technically to every player at the club.
Much like when Pires came back to train after he retired and Wenger said he still technically the best out of everyone there.
