A number of Spurs fans have been praising Alfie Devine following his captaincy for England’s Under-19s this week.
The 17-year-old has been making waves at Tottenham and for the Young Lions over the past year.
Devine joined the Spurs academy last summer from Wigan, and has already made his senior debut for the Lilywhites.

The youngster, previously on Liverpool’s books, was one of the brightest young talents on the Latics’ books.
Jamie Carragher, whose son James came through the Wigan academy, described Devine as “top class” and was “gutted” the Latics didn’t keep him.
Indeed, his goalscoring appearance against Marine in the FA Cup earlier this year made him the youngest player to have turned out – and scored – for Spurs in a senior game.
And in August, Tottenham handed Devine a contract until 2024 as reward for his progress in the N17 ranks.
On Monday, the Spurs gem hit another milestone, captaining his nation at Under-19 level in a 1-1 draw against Germany.
