Some Spurs fans have bemoaned the club’s decision to sell Dennis Cirkin.
The 19-year-old had been knocking on the door of the Tottenham first-team for a few years now.
Cirkin, who penned his first professional contract in 2019, was said to have a lot of fans at Spurs.

Former Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho rated the left-back highly as well, deeming him a “kid with a lot of quality”.
Mourinho also said: “I like Dennis very, very much, he works really hard.”
Cirkin was on the bench for two Europa League games – against Royal Antwerp and Ludogorets – last season.
However, he hadn’t made his first-team debut for Spurs, and now he won’t get the chance.
On Wednesday, Tottenham and Sunderland confirmed that Cirkin had moved to the Stadium of Light on a permanent basis.
Last week, football.london’s Alasdair Gold claimed that the teenager turned down a new Spurs deal and looked set to leave N17.
Tottenham fans were anxious about the speculation and, now Cirkin has left, they’re really not impressed.
