Leeds United suddenly have a number of options out wide for next season following summer activity in the transfer window and it will be intriguing to see who manager Marcelo Bielsa favours.
Helder Costa is the newest recruit at Elland Road and he’s moved to Yorkshire on an initial loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers which will become permeant next summer.
The Mirror reports he will join for £15million and he has experience of promotion from the Championship.
Costa has surely not moved to the Whites to sit on the bench and he can expected to be a regular feature in the XI.
The 25-year-old is most effective as a right-winger with his pace and skill, so could slot into Bielsa’s system in that role.
The Portuguese flyer has proven in the past he can rip apart Championship defences and just needs to rediscover his best form.
But Costa’s arrival will surely block the path of new Leeds teammate Jack Clarke.

Teenager Clarke has been involved in the hectic summer business so far, as he’s completed a move to Tottenham and since been loaned back to Leeds for the 2019/20 campaign.
The 18-year-old will be hoping to make a big impact in the upcoming season to impress Spurs and help the Whites achieve promotion.
But his preferred role is in a wide role on the right and it looks like he could be in direct competition with the more experienced Costa.
It’s a no-brainer from a Leeds perspective to hand Costa the first chance considering he is the long-term answer and Clarke may have to wait his turn for an opportunity.
