Hector Bellerin must only be allowed to leave Arsenal on one condition

Hector Bellerin is being eyed up by Atletico Madrid and Sevilla according to latest reports from Marca but Arsenal simply cannot afford to let him go.

That is, of course, if they fail to bring in a suitable replacement.

Despite a number of injury problems in the last few years, Bellerin is still widely regarded as one of the better full-backs in the Premier League.

Known for his speed and attacking impetus down the right, Bellerin would be a huge loss for the Gunners.

However, if Mikel Arteta can land one of his reported targets, then things might not work too bad in the long-run.

Who Arsenal can replace Hector Bellerin with

Reports this week have claimed the Gunners are interested in Dortmund loanee, Achraf Hakimi.

The Real Madrid youngster is enjoying a fine spell in Germany. Having played his part in 13 goals this season, the 21-year-old’s stock has certainly risen of late.

That’s why, then, if Arsenal can indeed land Hakimi ahead of a host of other suitors, they’d have the ideal long-term replacement for Bellerin.

Pace, power, and capable at both ends of the pitch

If there is one thing Achraf Hakimi has proved during his time with Dortmund, it’s that he is perfectly adept in both defence and attack.

That should entice Arsenal to go all out for him. Especially, if they are to consider the sale of Bellerin.

In the Premier League, it’s vital to keep moving and improving your squad. Hakimi would represent the club doing just that if they can land him.

As Mikel Arteta gradually makes his mark on the club, he’ll want players who fit his style of play. We saw at Man City just how important the full-backs were to Pep Guardiola.

Arteta, then, may well just draw influence from his former boss. Capturing Hakimi ahead of the chasing pack would go a long way to demonstrating he is following suit.
