Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin claims that the dressing room is behind Unai Emery, The Mirror reports.

Gunners boss Emery is facing increasing pressure from some fans as the performances and results have been inconsistent. Emery has made some unpopular selection decisions too, such as snubbing Lucas Torreira and Mesut Ozil in recent weeks.

But Bellerin, who is just coming back into the side after a lengthy absence, believes the Arsenal players have bought into Emery’s project. The Spaniard added that Arsenal have improved under Emery.

Bellerin said (via The Mirror): “This team has evolved a lot since the beginning of last season. When the board sign a manager like Unai, they know it’s all part of a process. He has his own ideas – and he’s done so well at Sevilla, Valencia and Paris Saint-Germain that everyone trusts in the manager.”

TBR’s view

Emery has made some questionable decisions during his tenure as Arsenal manager but Bellerin has the right attitude. No matter who the manager is, Arsenal’s players need to take some responsibility too.

From a personal point of view, Bellerin needs to get back to full fitness and get back into the side. Calum Chambers is his main competitor now but Bellerin should regain the starting spot before long.
