‘Heart of the squad’: Liverpool fans hail defender Andrew Robertson

Liverpool completed a brilliant 4-0 away victory against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter raved about defender Andrew Robertson for his performance.

Mohamed Salah stole the headlines with his excellent hat-trick in the Premier League, while Steve Cook also scored an own goal for the hosts.

Jurgen Klopp’s side continued their incredible start to the league season and temporarily moved to the top of the table, with second-placed Manchester City facing Chelsea later on Saturday.

The Merseyside club have now won 13 of their 16 league fixtures and have put some serious pressure on reigning champions Manchester City.

Celtic fans left short-changed by Sky Sports once again

A selection of Liverpool fans decided to single out Robertson after his display, as he provided a constant attacking threat at left-back.

Robertson, who cost just £8million (BBC) from Hull City, continues to prove he’s been a sensational bargain.

The Scotland international has cemented his spot as a key member of Klopp’s team and helped fix the long-term problem at left-back.

He had barely any defensive work to get through in the comfortable victory over Bournemouth, but once again provided an overlapping threat out wide and put some dangerous crosses into the box.
