A number of Everton fans have reacted to Carlo Ancelotti’s comments to the Toffees media team suggesting he’s looking to play Cenk Tosun more often.
The 29-year-old joined Everton from Besiktas in 2018 for a reported £27million fee and has clocked up 52 appearances for the Toffees, scoring 10 goals and claiming six assists.
However, Tosun fell out of favour at Goodison Park last season, making just five Premier League appearances before going on to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.

The Toffees man made five appearances for the Eagles, scoring on his full debut to help secure a 2-2 draw against Manchester City, but suffered an ACL injury and returned to Goodison.
Now fit again, Tosun was handed his first minutes of the season in last Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Newcastle, playing 21 minutes off the bench.
“We need Cenk for some games, he is a good striker in the box, really good, really efficient in the box,” Ancelotti told evertontv.
“It is good to have him back. Of course, he has to improve his condition but I think it is an important sign he is back.
While Tosun has split opinion amongst Everton fans in the past, quite a few are happy to hear he’s returning to the fold, and with the current players around him, could do better than in the past.
