'He was very good': Ian Wright impressed by Arsenal star Nicolas Pepe

Arsenal might have lost to Wolves last night, but former striker Ian Wright said he was ‘delighted’ by the performance of Nicolas Pepe.

But Pepe scored a wonderful goal at Molineux last night before seeing two red cards derail Arsenal’s hopes of a win. However, his performance caught the eye of Arsenal icon Wright, who admitted he was impressed by Pepe.

“I’m delighted for him, playing over on the left he has found a lot of confidence,” Wright told Sport Optus.
