Premier League pundit Adrian Clarke was impressed with Gabriel Jesus’ performance for Arsenal this week against Nottingham Forest.
The Brazilian international was the hero of the night for the Gunners as the former Manchester City striker opened the scoring before assisting Bukayo Saka to make it 2-0 to Arsenal.
The win puts Arsenal back in the Premier League title conversation with Liverpool due to face Chelsea tonight, where the Gunners will be hoping their west London rivals come away with something.

And speaking on the Handbreak Off podcast, Clarke was full of praise for Jesus‘ display at the City Ground, with the 26-year-old showing why he still leads the line for Arsenal.
Indeed, whilst a world-class addition could be made in the summer, Jesus proved why he is still a reliable option for Arsenal, and the attacker still has a big role to play in the coming weeks for the Gunners.
Clarke said on Jesus’ performance: “I’ll tell you what, I thought Jesus throughout the game took a lot of responsibility. He wanted to get involved, he never hid and I thought he was really good actually.”
Gabriel Jesus needs to maintain this form if Arsenal want to win the Premier League

Jesus’ goalscoring consistency has been a major issue for Arsenal fans since the striker joined the club 18 months ago, with the 26-year-old yet to really find the net on a regular basis.
Whilst Jesus is obviously a brilliant finisher, Arsenal’s lack of goals could eventually pan out to become the main reason the Gunners miss out on the title this season.
And for the Brazilian, that means hitting that purple patch that could be the difference in Arsenal once again going for the league or petering out amongst Manchester City and Liverpool’s brilliance.
