Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has revealed to the club’s official website that Antonio Conte was not happy in the dressing room after the win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Spurs managed to come away with all three points after a tough trip to the City Ground on Sunday.

A Harry Kane brace handed Conte’s men a 2-0 win but they didn’t play their best over the course of the 90 minutes.

Forest dominated the ball during the game but Spurs did manage to carve out the better opportunities.

And Kulusevski has revealed that Conte was not happy with his side’s performance.

Kulusevski says Conte was not happy

Speaking to Spurs Play after the game, Kulusevski admitted that Spurs were not at their best and said Conte was angry about the performance

“I’m going to be honest, we want to play much better,” he said.

“We all think that we can do much better. So, we’re happy with the win and that we didn’t concede but we know that we can play so much better.

“And the coach [Conte] also knows that so he was a little bit angry with us and all the right. We just have to continue like this and then improve because we have more to show.”

Spurs have got off to a decent start in the Premier League and have now won three out of their opening four games.

However Conte’s men have started each game very slowly and their performances haven’t been eye-catching.

But it’s a good sign for the Italian that his side are winning games despite not being at their best.

In the past, Spurs have often failed to grind out results when playing poorly.

Conte’s side will undoubtedly improve as the season goes on and players return to full sharpness. But for now, the most important thing is for the team to carry on winning.
