‘He tries so hard’: Son says Spurs 24-year-old is a joker in the dressing room

Tottenham Hotspur ace Son Heung-min has jokingly told Spider-Man star Tom Holland that Sergio Reguilon “tries hard” to be funny.

The Spurs ace was talking to Tottenham fan Holland ahead of the launch of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

In a video shared on the Spurs Twitter feed, the actor asked Son to compare his teammates – past and present – to the Marvel Avengers.

Son and Holland compared Hugo Lloris to Captain America, Harry Kane to Hawkeye, Mousa Dembele to Thor and Cristian Romero to Hulk.

When it came to Loki’s turn – “the god of mischief, a charming, unpredictable, spontaneous and expert trickster” – Son had two options in mind.

“I think Lucas or Reggie,” said the 29-year-old.

Singling Reguilon out, Son said of the 24-year-old: “He tries to be funny… he tries hard!”

The disrespect!

It’s great to get such an insight into the Spurs dressing room.

Every team has its mischievous, funny players, and it looks as though Reguilon – and Lucas Moura – are the ones at N17.

With Antonio Conte in the dressing room, there appears to be more unity in the dressing room.

And hopefully Spurs will be able to finish the calendar year on a high.
