‘He should remember Coutinho’ – Liverpool fans react to Mo Salah’s comments on his Anfield future

Liverpool fans have been responding in their droves after comments from Mo Salah seemed to suggest that he might be open to a move away from Anfield in the future.

A report from Goal, which took quotes from a Salah interview with LA FM Colombia, had Salah down as saying that ‘no-one knows’ when it comes to his future with the club.

Salah went further to admit that ‘at the moment, he is happy’, but conceded that he would have to ‘see what happens’ in the future.

The Egyptian winger has been instrumental in Liverpool’s rise to the very top under Jurgen Klopp. Goals, assists, and a constant threat in the front three with Mane and Firmino, his loss would be huge if he did move on.

Reds fans, then, have been having their say on the comments on Twitter. And while plenty of fans were measured in their views, some fired a warning to Salah, reminding him of what happened to Philippe Coutinho when he left.
