Jeff Stelling has urged Manchester United to sell Marcus Rashford and claimed the forward looks ‘so unhappy’ at Old Trafford right now.

Marcus Rashford has endured a difficult season at Man United after such a promising campaign under Erik ten Hag last time out.

The Englishman managed 29 goals across all competitions but has registered just six this term.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in signing Rashford this summer and have been long-term admirers of the forward.

And Jeff Stelling believes Rashford needs to seek a move away from his boyhood club.

Stelling urges United to sell Rashford

Speaking on TalkSPORT (27/2 7:25am), Stelling explained why he believes United should look to offload Rashford.

“I would sell,” the presenter said. “I would definitely sell because he looks so unhappy and out of sorts. But again, who would you sell him to?”

“Do you know something? I actually think more from his point of view than anything, he just needs to get away and kickstart his career because his body language, he does just not look happy at all,” Ally McCoist added.

Much has been made of Rashford’s dip in form this term and he’s struggled to find any kind of consistency.

He’s a ‘wonderful’ footballer on his day but those days have been few and far between this season.

Of course, Rashford has put in some more promising displays in recent weeks, alongside the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho.

His future could also depend on that of Ten Hag’s, with the Dutchman’s position at Old Trafford far from secure after Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s arrival.

Nevertheless, United may have a decision to make this summer when it comes to Rashford’s long-term future at the club.

PSG are known to be admirers of the winger and he may well fancy a change of scenery after a difficult season.
