'He knows': Gary Neville spotted what Tottenham boss Nuno was doing on the touchline in injury time yesterday
Gary Neville spotted Nuno shaking his head on the touchline in injury time, just before Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal was confirmed – as per his comments live on Sky Sports.
Nuno’s frustration showing
Tottenham gave the ball away late on in the matches, with Sergio Reguilon failing to keep it on the pitch.
The wayward pass and miss control rather summed up their performance in the North London derby.
Nuno was clearly irked by the play and he looked rueful on the touchline, as he shook his head with just seconds to go.

And Neville felt that the Tottenham boss’s body language showed that he knew just how damaging a performance and result this was for him and his side.
“I don’t think it is a boost though [that Spurs won the second half], looking at the way he’s shaking his head. He knows this is a bad one, a really bad one,” Neville said.
Losing run
Nuno’s side have now lost their last three Premier League matches, conceding nine goals.
Tottenham have also only manage to muster up four goals all season, with Nuno facing huge question marks already.
The Portuguese boss was always renowned as a rather defensive coach and he has shown no signs that he actually knows how to get the best out of Tottenham’s attacking talent.
Tottenham are next in domestic action on Sunday, when they take on Aston Villa, in what looks like another difficult test.
