‘He is on his way’: Arsenal fans react as Gabriel Magalhaes is left out of Lille friendly

Arsenal fans have been building themselves up on Twitter this weekend after it appears that long-term target, Gabriel Magalhaes, is being left out of pre-season friendlies with Lille.

The defender, 22, is a key target for the Gunners if numerous reports are to be believed. The Lille star has had quite the season and has developed a reputation as one of the best defenders in Europe.

Gunners fans, then, have been getting into a bit of a frenzy after it was pointed out on Twitter that Gabriel was not involved in the Lille squad to face AZ Alkmaar yesterday.

The news got a number of Gunners supporters talking on the social media platform, with plenty of them believing that they’re close to landing the Brazilian.

And while some were less than convinced, it’s safe to say the topic of conversation was enough to get tongues wagging amongst some of the Gunners faithful.
