Mo Salah came under fire yet again after a poor performance against Napoli in the Champions League.

Liverpool lost 1-0 to Napoli as the Serie A side claimed a late goal.

But it was a toothless display from Liverpool in truth, with very few chances created.

Jurgen Klopp decided not to start with Daniel Sturridge, despite the striker being in red hot form again.

Xherdan Shaqiri also settled for a spot on the bench as Klopp opted to stick with his tried and tested front trio.

Last season, the three-pronged attack of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Salah stoked fear in the opposition.

But all three players had a quiet game, especially Salah.

The Egypt international, who has not been at his best this season, was marked out of the game and had little impact.

When he did get on the ball, he did not look his usual self and was wasteful in possession.
