Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has lauded his teammate and fellow youngster, Gabriel Martinelli, saying the young Brazilian plays ‘like he has a battery pack’ on his back.
Both players have made a big impression on proceedings under the guidance of Mikel Arteta. However, while Saka is flying and one of the first names on the teamsheet, Martinelli has had a nasty injury to fight back from.

But Saka is under no illusions about how good and valuable his Arsenal teammate is. The England man taking time out to praise Martinelli in an interview on the Premier League’s YouTube channel.
“Just watch him play and press, the way he goes he doesn’t stop,” Saka said.
“He’s not only just fast, he can also run a long distance at that same speed and just get faster. You look at his Chelsea goal he didn’t slow down or get tired. It’s not just his pace it’s his engine as well. It’s crazy. It’s like he’s got a battery pack on his back.”

Martinelli is now back in and around the squad for the Gunners and will be hoping to make an impression in the coming weeks. Arsenal have suffered a bit of a dip in form of late, which could in turn give the young Brazilian his chance again.
TBR View: Saka and Martinelli could be frightening for Arsenal next seaso
Saka is already one of the top young attacking players in Europe and we’ve already seen glimpses of what Martinelli can do as well.
Next season, with Martinelli fully fit and another pre-season under his belt, we could well see him and Saka tearing things up in the Premier League on a weekly basis.
Mikel Arteta clearly rates Martinelli as well. He’ll be in and around the first XI more often than not, and that can only be a good thing for the Gunners.
