‘He could move’: Alan Brazil says £22m player is far more likely to leave Tottenham than Harry Kane

TalkSPORT pundit Alan Brazil says Heung-Min Son is far more likely to leave Tottenham Hotspur than Harry Kane.

Fabrizio Romano claimed just last month that Bayern Munich are dreaming of signing Kane from Spurs next summer.

The 29-year-old’s current deal runs until 2024 and 90 Min reports that Spurs are confident he will put pen to paper.

The England captain’s previous desire to leave north London was well documented, with interest from Manchester City last summer.

Whereas Son signed a new deal with the club at around the same time. Despite this, Brazil thinks it’s far more likely that the £22 million man could seek a move away from Spurs.

Brazil says Son more likely to leave than Kane

Speaking on TalkSPORT, fellow pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor discussed the Tottenham star’s futures at the club.

“Talk about Harry Kane as well, he could be one that looks at a Bayern Munich move,” he said.

“I didn’t think he’d want to go Ally [McCoist] because of the goal-record [Premier League].

“But Son wants to win trophies, Ally. He wants to win stuff. I don’t think he’s going to do that at Spurs.

“But Kane might have the option to go to Bayern Munich. He might have to choose that as well to win trophies.

“What if they don’t win anything this season and it comes to the summer? Don’t you think that Son and Kane are going to be thinking we need to move now?”

But Brazil feels Spurs are more in danger of losing Son than their talisman in Kane.

“I’ve always said that I hope Harry goes nowhere,” he said.

“I hope Harry stays at Spurs. Son’s I think different, I think he could move.”

TBR View: Son seems to be more committed to Tottenham

Last summer, Son signed a fresh four-year extension with the club while rumours were gathering pace about Kane’s future.

The English striker has already shown that he is ready to seek a move away from the club if they cannot match his ambition.

But Son has never expressed any desire to leave north London and seems determined to win trophies with Spurs.

That’s not to say that Kane isn’t, but last summer’s events suggest that he would be willing to leave if he feels he cannot pick up trophies at Tottenham.
