Some Manchester City supporters have slammed Aymeric Laporte following the latest transfer update surrounding the defender.
Sport report that the Spanish international is putting pressure on the City board to sanction a transfer to FC Barcelona this summer. Laporte lost his starting XI spot last season to John Stones and Ruben Dias.

The 27-year-old defender is seemingly a favourite in the Spanish press to join Barcelona in the transfer window. Indeed, there is growing momentum that Laporte could actually leave City this summer for the La Liga giants.
With Gerard Pique in the latter years of his career and centre-back options at Barcelona being hampered by injury last season, Laporte is a realistic transfer option for the Catalonian side.

And City supporters are starting to open to the idea of the Basque defender leaving this summer, in large part due to his attitude towards not playing first-team football.
Barcelona have already signed two City players this summer. Sergio Aguero joined the La Liga giants following the expiration of his contract with the Cityzens. Whilst Eric Garcia followed the Argentina to the Blaugrana a few days later.
