Newcastle United have some fantastic young talents on their books right now.
The likes of Elliott Anderson, Lewis Miley and Tino Livramento look like bona fide stars of the future, but perhaps the player with the most potential at Newcastle is Alexander Isak.
Isak has been on the scene for quite some time now, so it’s easy to forget he’s just 24 years old.
The Sweden international is still developing and likely has his best years ahead of him, and according to Kieran Trippier, speaking on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, the big striker can go on to become one of the best in the world.

Isak can be one of the best
Trippier gave his verdict on the 24-year-old.
“Goals. I think. I played against him in Spain, so I knew all about him anyway, but his finishing is up there with the best I’ve played with. He is frightening. What he brings to the team, not just goals, he’s so good with the ball, to me he’s got everything,” Trippier said.
“He can dribble, he’s quick, he’s very quick, and he can score goals. I think he can go to the top, people forget how young he is. When he’s fit for a season, he will score 20+ this season for sure.”
Has it all
Trippier is absolutely right, Isak is a player who could go to the very top.
The Swede is very much a modern centre-forward in that he has it all.
He combines, size, speed, elegance and technical ability in a way that not even the likes of Erling Haaland can, and when he puts it all together, he’s a scary player.
As Trippier says, if the Newcastle striker can stay fit this season, we’d back him to get 20 goals.
