Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas has not been a regular starter this season and there have been numerous reports implying that he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge. Despite the rumours, the Spaniard has remained at Chelsea and taken his chances. Fabregas has made nine appearances this season and five of them have come from the bench. He has scored once and provided three assists.

The Spanish international’s latest assist came in the 3-0 win over Bournemouth. He has provided 98 assists in the Premier League, leaving him fourth behind Ryan Giggs (162), Frank Lampard (102) and Wayne Rooney (101). Fabregas could easily have sulked about not being included in the squad as much as he was before, but he has been very professional.

Conte’s man management skills have shown Fabregas that he still has an important role to play in the team, even if it is from the bench.
