Juventus are reportedly keen to negotiate a new contract for wonderkid Moise Kean.
Kean scored the winner against Empoli last weekend after coming off the bench, and scored twice and assisted on his first Serie A start for the club against Udinese a few weeks ago.
Following much promise it would seem that he is finally making his mark for the Italian giants, and it could mean that Newcastle United have missed the boat.
The Magpies were linked with a move for Kean in January, with Chronicle Live reporting that discussions had taken place.
Kean’s showings in recent weeks will certainly not help Newcastle’s cause if they still want to sign him.
The talented youngster has caught the eye with the first-team now and there’s a chance that Juventus won’t want to lose him.
That said though, the player is represented by Mino Raiola and anything could happen.
Reported recently by Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato), the super agent stated that ‘the boy must play’, which may give the Toon Army some hope as surely they can offer more game time than Juventus who have a plethora of top class attackers.
But with his stock rising rapidly having scored his first international goals against Finland and Lichtenstein, it just may be too late now.
