'Hate you sometimes': Some Celtic fans think club has just made a 'big mistake' transfer-wise
Celtic fans have reacted to the news that Vakoun Bayo has left Parkhead on a permanent deal.
The 24-year-old joined Celtic in January 2019 for a reported £2m, but failed to make much of an impact at the club.
Bayo made just 17 competitive appearances for Celtic, registering two goals and one assist.
The Bhoys loaned him out to Toulouse last summer, where he scored 13 goals and claimed four assists from 36 games.
Now, Bayo has joined Belgian outfit KAA Gent for a reported £1.4m.
The Ivory Coast frontman pulled out of his country’s Olympic squad to complete his move.
But some Celtic fans aren’t happy about his move, claiming he wasn’t given a proper chance in green and white.
Never really got a chance at Celtic to be honest— D’Lo Brown (@Jinky_Tim) July 9, 2021

Never really got a chance here
Wish him all the best 🍀
Big mistake wasn't givent a chance really and he is great in the air, with a team that actually crosses the ball (play to his strength) instead of constantly cutting in and trying to go through the middle aka Celtic then he could be a good player.— Kevin (@Kevin41070063) July 9, 2021
