Arsenal have knocked it out of the park with their signings in recent years.
The north London club have made some risky acquisitions that were criticised at the time, but, almost without fail, every signing the Gunners have made in recent years has succeeded.
From Declan Rice to Kai Havertz all the way back to Ben White, Arsenal have been brilliant in the transfer window.
However, no club can have a 100 per cent success rate, and there has been the odd poor signing.
One player who hasn’t perhaps been as good as many had hoped is Fabio Vieira, but according to David Ornstein, Arsenal believe the £35m man still has the ability to improve.

Arsenal believe Fabio Vieira can improve
Ornstein spoke about Vieira and how Arsenal view the Portuguese midfielder.
“Arsenal’s work in the transfer market as of late has been brilliant, you can scrutinise each individual, but there hasn’t been many failures. Fabio Vieira hasn’t succeeded so far, but we know there is a player there and they would like to think they can still get more out of him,” Ornstein said.
Fabio Vieira has bags of ability
It’s a little while back now, but we mustn’t forget just how highly-rated Fabio Vieira was during his time at Porto.
The young midfielder was seen as Portuguese football’s next big thing, and while he may be a bit too lightweight for the Premier League, he still has a lot of ability and he can bulk up.
In terms of technical ability, Vieira is up there with the better players at Arsenal, and with the right coaching and the right nurturing, he could still be a star at the Emirates if he rediscovers his confidence.
There’s a lot to like about Vieira as a player, and it sounds as though Arsenal aren’t giving up hope on him just yet.
