Liverpool fans have been having their say on social media after reports from Spain claimed that the Reds wanted Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.

The young Brazilian has been part of the squad this season but has struggled for goals under Zinedine Zidane, prompting talk of a potential move away from the Bernaebeu.

Arsenal are also said to be keen on landing Vinicius, while The Express claims Madrid could be open to a deal as they look to raise funds to sign Kylian Mbappe in the summer months.

Vinicius arrived in Madrid for around £38m (BBC) in the summer of 2018 but has, as yet, failed to build on the potential and reputation that saw some in Brazil refer to him as a new Neymar.

Liverpool fans, too, seem unsure on a potential deal to bring Vinicius to the club, with Twitter awash with comments both for and against the signing.
