Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa may have just indirectly handed first teamer Ezgjan Alioski some good news following his comments on youngster Jack Clarke.
Alioski, 26, is a regular in the starting XI and has played an important first-team role so far this campaign.
The Macedonia international has provided a decent goal threat at times and has a great work-rate, but on the flip side can be inconsistent and go missing in matches.
Meanwhile, rising attacking star Clarke is a 17-year-old being used as an impact player at Elland Road and is showing some huge potential.
Bielsa has indicated that he’s happy to keep using wide man Clarke as a substitute to help him with his development, which in term should help Alioski keep his place in the side.
“Every time Jack Clarke gets in and plays a game as a sub he gives positives answers, he is a very young player and he is a giving a good answer because he plays as a sub and he plays good, gives a positive answer,” Bielsa said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“I think the process I am following with him and giving him time will give him time to improve”

Many have suggested that Clarke is ready to start matches in the Championship for Leeds and Alioski is one of the players that could have missed out if that was the case.
But it looks left-footed ace Alioski will continue being a familiar face in the starting line up and he really needs to work on his consistency.
There is no doubt that on his day he’s a vital attacking threat for the Yorkshire giants, but needs to start showing more consistency in front of goal.
