Everton are reportedly interested in signing Fabian Delph from Manchester City this summer and a Toffee star may have just hinted that the England international is close to agreeing a deal at Goodison Park.
The Guardian have claimed that Everton are closing in on an £8million move for England midfielder Delph this summer, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Manchester City.
Delph, 29, only managed 11 Premier League appearances last season with the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Fernandinho and more ahead of him in the pecking order. The signing of Rodri has only pushed Delph down the rankings.
Now, a move to Everton seems as though it is getting nearer, especially after Lucas Digne followed the England cap and Manchester City star on Instagram on Monday – which was noticed by fans.

TBR’s view – Delph would be excellent for Everton
Everton need a midfielder with a bit of bite. Idrissa Gueye could be leaving, while the signing of Andre Gomes provides the Merseyside club with flair – but not the bite of Delph.
The former Leeds and Aston Villa man is a leader, and boasts massive experience at the top of the Premier League. At Everton, he could be the difference and the one that pushes The Toffees into the top six.
At just £8million, he is a bargain and one that takes Everton to the next level.
