Leeds United got their first glimpse of signing Raphinha on Monday night off the bench, as he made a late cameo appearance in the 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old is a skilful Brazilian winger that was signed from French club Rennes for £17million (BBC) and is set to be yet another impressive addition to the squad at Elland Road.
Despite Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa having a fairly settled starting XI, it surely won’t be too long before the South American is pushing for a regular position.
The left-footer started the season in strong form for Rennes before his transfer and he’s expected to add some extra attacking threat in Yorkshire.
If the right-winger is going to break into the side, then teammate Helder Costa is the one he needs to move above in the pecking order and there are similarities in their style of play.

Costa is a left-footed winger that likes to cut inside from the right and is a nailed-on starter at present.
The 26-year-old was a £16million signing (BBC) from Wolves and was instrumental in the opening two games of the season.
What works in his favour is that he’s a player Bielsa likes after playing his role in promotion last season and he’s started him in all five league games so far.
But perhaps he’s left the door open for Raphinha?
Costa is without a goal or assists in the last three league matches and his levels have dipped somewhat as an attacking threat.
The Portuguese flyer is pivotal to the Leeds squad with his creativity and his defensive work-rate when tracking back, but maybe Raphinha may be in line for a first start following his minor dip.
