Harvey Elliott was the hero for Fulham’s under-23 team as they progressed to the next round of the Premier League cup on Friday.
The young Cottagers picked up a 2-0 win over Reading’s youth team with Elliott scoring one and setting up the other.
Elliott opened the scoring 20 minutes in when they received a ball from Matt O’Riley and provided the finishing touch.
Then, late on in the game, Elliott showed a tremendous burst of pace to escape his marker before squaring the ball for Timmy Abraham to complete an easy finish.
This performance was just the latest reminder of the 15-year-old’s tremendous talent and potential.

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Elliott back in September, as per The Sun, but his displays for Fulham’s academy should convince them to act.
Elliott is one of England’s best young talents, operating as an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal.
The talented teenager has already made his first-team debut for Fulham, becoming the club’s youngest ever player when he featured in the EFL Cup against Millwall.
Spurs would be an attractive next destination for the England under-15 starlet, given their philosophy of bringing young players through the ranks.
And Elliott has the potential to become a first-team star, as he showed in the cup win over Reading.
