Harvey Elliott raves about Liverpool linked gem on Instagram

Tricky forward Harvey Elliott has raved about Liverpool transfer target Michael Olise on Instagram.

Rising Ballers put a post on featuring Elliott and Olise, highlighting that the teen sensations were joint top of the Championship assist charts.

Both players have excelled this season; Elliott with Blackburn and Olise with Reading, with the pair claiming nine assists apiece.

Elliott will spend the season on loan with Rovers and has been in fine form. Reading starlet Olise has come of age over the last 12 months and has been linked with Liverpool (The Mirror).

Following the Instagram post from the account which specialises in highlighting the brilliance of young talent, Elliott heaped praise on Olise.

Both Olise and Elliott are set for bright futures in the game and it’ll be interesting to see where the Reading man ends up.

Eliott is at Blackburn proving to Liverpool that he is capable of playing regularly at Anfield – but for Olise the challenge is different.

With every goal he scores and assists he is throwing himself into the shop window ready for Premier League clubs to pounce in the summer.

Olise has burst onto the Madejski Stadium scene, registering 11 assists in 57 games in total.

The 19-year-old has been linked with several clubs, with Liverpool among the chasing pack.

With Elliott clearly a fan of the youngster it’ll be extremely interesting to see if the Reds do pounce.

It has previously been claimed that he is valued at £8 million, although his form this season could change that.

Even more interesting is the fact that Olise plays on the right-wing – where Elliott has excelled for Blackburn this season.

He can operate in a number of positions, however, and he’d be a class addition to the Liverpool ranks.
