Hart lauded on Instagram after Celtic won the Scottish Premiership title

Declan Rice and Matt Doherty were amongst those to laud Joe Hart on Instagram after Celtic won the Scottish Premiership title on Wednesday with a draw at Dundee United.

Ange Postecoglou’s men knew that the title was all but theirs heading into the game. They boasted a six-point advantage over Rangers, and they have a significantly better goal difference than their rivals.

They could only take a point back from their trip to Tannadice, with Giorgos Giakoumakis’ opener at the start of the second-half being cancelled out with just under 20 minutes left.

But Celtic were able to officially celebrate as champions at full-time. They take a four-point lead into the final day of the campaign.

The triumph caps a brilliant first year at Parkhead for Hart. He ends the season with two trophies, with the Hoops also winning the Scottish League Cup earlier in the year.

It has been a brilliant move for Hart. The 35-year-old arrived off the back of a spell with Tottenham where he was unable to make a Premier League debut for the club.

He perhaps has some limitations in his game when it comes to his distribution. But there is absolutely no question that the former England international has produced several big moments when Celtic have needed him.

Unsurprisingly, Hart took to Instagram following the confirmation that Celtic are champions once again. And a number of former teammates responded with messages of congratulations.

Rice and Doherty were amongst those to express their delight for the goalkeeper. It is clear that he is a hugely popular figure amongst those who have played alongside him in the past.
