Ex-Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes that his former side are due to go on a winning run after a mixed start to the new campaign.
Spurs have five points from their opening four Premier League games with their only victory coming at home to Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, there have been draws away to Manchester City and Arsenal, as well as a home defeat against Newcastle United.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are back after the international break this weekend when they host Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Redknapp is predicting Spurs to get the better of Palace, while also hinting that he could spark a good run of form that helps them end up third in the Premier League this season.
“I’d have to fancy Spurs [against Palace], I think Spurs are due to go on a run. I see Spurs finishing third again this year. I think the top two look different class,” Redknapp told talkSPORT.
Spurs would love to find their best form during this month, but the next two league games come against fourth-placed Palace and third-placed Leicester City after their strong early starts to the season.
They also have Olympiacos in the Champions League, Colchester United in the Carabao Cup and Southampton in the league still to play in September.
Pochettino’s team have shown in the past they are capable of building real momentum with a string of results, something they are going to need if they want to get near the top two of the Premier League.
