Harry Redknapp has shared his opinion on the current suspension of the Premier League and Football League.
Due to the global health crisis football in England is at a halt, leaving the end of the Premier League and Championship seasons in severe doubt.
For Leeds United and West Brom fans, it is certainly a big concern. Leeds are top of the Championship with just nine games left and are seven points clear of Fulham in third. West Brom, meanwhile are second, six points ahead of the Cottagers.

Both Leeds and West Brom are therefore in a strong position regarding potential promotion to the Premier League.
But with no end in sight to the current restrictions in the UK, the very real possibility of this Championship season being expunged remains a possibility.
Redknapp, a former Tottenham and West Ham manager, is clearly hopeful that the Championship season can be finished, even if it means pushing back the start of next season. He told Sky Sports News, as relayed by the Yorkshire Evening Post:
“Yes I would, that’s what I would love to see. I’d love to see the season fully completed before we ever start next season whenever that may be.
“I really want to see Liverpool win the league, I want to see the teams in the top four and I want to see the teams in the Championship and in every other league who might get promoted.
“I think it should be finished and brought to a conclusion before we even start next season, that’s what I would like to see.”
Leeds United and West Brom fans are starting to come to the realisation that, at present, there are far more crushing concerns in the world then what league their respective clubs might be playing in next season.
However, it would be a huge disappointment for Leeds and West Brom fans if they did end up missing out on a return to the top-flight when so tantalisingly close.
Leeds, in particular, would be prevented from the opportunity fans have been waiting for impatiently for several years.
