There have been plenty of incomings at Aston Villa this summer and fans at the club are rightly excited of a promising campaign back in the Premier League.
However, plenty of players also left the club. That included a long list of youngsters who did not make the grade at the club, including striker Harry McKirdy.
The 22-year-year-old joined Aston Villa from Stoke City as a 14-year-old and signed his first professional deal with the club in 2016. He went on to spend loan spells with the likes of Stevenage, Crewe Alexandra, and Newport County.

However, the closest he came to an Aston Villa first-team debut was a place on the bench against Yeovil Town in the EFL Cup last season.
With that in mind, Aston Villa let him go this summer and he joined League Two side Carlisle United in June.
Yesterday, he got his career off to a bang with his new club. McKirdy took just six minutes to score on his full Brunton Park debut as the Cumbrians started their league campaign with a 2-1 win against visiting Crawley Town.
Aston Villa fans will no doubt wish McKirdy all the best in the Football League. Hopefully, he has started as he means to go on.
