England secured a 5-3 victory over Kosovo last night with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane once again on the scoresheet.
The Three Lions were made to work for their victory and actually fell behind to the minnows inside a minute at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium.
Gareth Southgate’s men did go in 5-1 up at the interval, however, before Kosovo pulled two back early in the second half.
It was Tottenham man Kane who would finish with the headlines, however, but this time for the wrong reasons.

The talisman had netted his last 14 penalties and when handed the chance from the spot late on the outcome appeared inevitable.
On-loan Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Aro Muric produced the heroics though, denying the Spurs man from 12 yards.
Kane took his tally for England to 26 goals and at the age of 26, he seems certain to smash Wayne Rooney’s record total.
Of course, being the perfectionist he is, Kane will be devastated with his penalty miss and he returns to Tottenham with work to do.
Indeed, he hinted as much on his Twitter account after the game:
England still secured the three points to maintain their 100% record in qualification for Euro 2020.
Tottenham fans were on hand, however, to console Kane after his miss from the spot.
